I dyed my hair this weekend and a friend suggested dedicating a blog post to the latest page in my book of disguises. It's only day three, so the color is still bright as ever - I love it! It makes me think how bored I'll be when it wears off again! What if coloring your hair is like slowly developing an addiction?
How I miss having a fireplace! Here's a close-up shot of my parents' fireplace grate in front of a roaring fire on my first day back for Christmas! My dad used much eagerly torn wrapping paper and cardboard to fuel this raging blaze!
Here was a particularly beautiful episode of the Mass. Ave bridge fireworks... I loved the smoke of the previously launched fireworks fading away in the background and the red tint of the sky in this shot.
Here's a photo of the fireworks finale as seen from a roofdeck in Cambridge tonight. Many of my night shots came out fuzzy, but I lucked out with a few sharp ones like this. After spending the earlier part of the evening in the North End witnessing the Italians win their World Cup game, this made for a great ending to a rowdy night!
